Water Rights Workshop

January 27, Carnation Senior Center, 5:30-7:00 p.m.

4610 Stephens Ave, Downtown Carnation

Thank you to all who turned out Tues, Jan 27 for this information session.

If you missed it, you can view the  presentation and handouts here.

The next meeting will be held on March 31, 2015 at 5:30 p.m. at the same location, the Senior Center in Carnation.

This session was made possible by a grant from Washington State Department of Agriculture Specialty Crop Block Grant Program, to increase access to irrigation in the Snoqualmie Valley.

Please email Cynthia Krass at cynthia@svpa.us  with any questions, or if you would like to talk individually with SVPA and water rights attorney Bill Clarke about your specific water rights.

This session was part of a larger effort to create a basin-wide approach to protecting our existing rights and obtaining new rights. The Snoqualmie Valley Preservation Alliance is seeking to assist landowners in forming a locally-controlled “Watershed Improvement District,” empowered to address water rights, water supply and agricultural drainage.
