Taste of the Valley is the Snoqualmie Valley Preservation Alliance’s signature annual fundraiser and the largest on-farm dinner in the greater Seattle region. Each summer, more than 300 valley lovers gather at a beautiful working farm to enjoy an extraordinary meal prepared by talented chefs and beverage makers from across the region. Together, they create inspired “tastes” featuring ingredients grown and raised right here in the Snoqualmie Valley.
The evening includes a farm-to-table tasting experience, local wines, beer, and cider, and both online and in-person auctions featuring unique experiences, local goods, and one-of-a-kind items. The night concludes with a lively live auction and a chance to directly support the future of the Valley we all love.
More than just a celebration of local food, Taste of the Valley plays a critical role in sustaining SVPA’s work to protect and strengthen the Snoqualmie Valley’s agricultural landscape and rural communities. Funds raised support our efforts to:
-
Protect farmland and support a thriving agricultural economy
-
Address flood risks and improve watershed resilience
-
Advocate for smart land-use planning that balances farms, fish, and communities
-
Support farmers facing increasing climate challenges
-
Advance solutions that sustain the lives, livelihoods, lands, and waters of the Valley for generations to come
In recent years, this work has become more urgent than ever. From severe flooding and climate impacts to increasing development pressure, the future of farming in the Snoqualmie Valley depends on strong community support and collaborative solutions.
Taste of the Valley brings people together around the table to celebrate what makes this place so special—and to invest in the work needed to ensure the Valley continues to thrive.
We hope you’ll join us for this special evening.
